![]() This wine will do very well with tropical-inspired shellfish, like coconut shrimp or lobster bisque. The grapes for this wine were pressed onsite at the vineyard and the juice was barrel fermented at cool temperatures in a mix of gently used French and American oak, then aged in the same barrels for 12 months before transferring to stainless steel to allow the wine a brief rest prior to bottling. This vintage was also blended with some of our Chardonnay from Sonoma, making this wine a North Coast blend. The vineyards in this region perennially yield bright citrus aromas in the wines. Located north of the San Pablo Bay and straddling both Sonoma and Napa, Carneros is a region widely known for its sparkling wine production. We can ship to all states except AL, AR, KY, MI, MS, SD, UT. The finish is lengthy and clean, leaving the impression of pineapple and lemon tartness, along with a clean, oaky vanilla. The flavors stay consistent throughout - ripe pineapple and other tropical fruits dominate. In the mouth, this full-bodied wine has a rich texture balanced by a bright citrus acidity.
